About Us

We are a Southwest based landscaping Company for domestic and commercial clients throughout Devon, Dorset and Somerset. We offer a design, construction, soft landscaping and maintenance service that includes patios, driveways, turfing, planting, walling, fencing, repair work, etc. We also undertake grounds maintenance to both domestic and commercial properties such as flats, offices, etc. However, if the whole package is not required we are flexible in that you can choose the options you want and even carry out the work in stages so that it becomes more affordable or convenient. You can decide how much input you want (it is your garden and finance after all)! We realise that your ideas are important therefore we listen to what you want in order to interpret and achieve your dream. If after looking at our website you would like any further information then either use the contact page or, alternatively, telephone me on the above numbers or email me at mgwale@aol.com
We are a full contracting member of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and have been for more than four years now and also a member of The Association of Professional Landscapers. We are also an approved installer for Natural Paving Products (UK) Ltd and we have recently become an approved partner with As Good As Grass, a company specialising in artificial grass. Being affiliated to Companies like these means that we have to work to the highest standards at all times thus giving potential customers peace of mind. Over the years we have won several Commitment to Quality awards and the Brett Patio of the Year award in 2006.

About Mike

My name is Mike Wale and I am founder of the Company. I started my career in 1965 at Wolverhampton Parks department completing their accredited apprenticeship. I then studied at Pershore College of Horticulture where I obtained my National Certificate in Horticulture (NCH). On leaving Pershore I worked for a building company for a time in order to hone my general building skills before starting my own landscape design and construction business in 1973. During the years since I have gained valuable experience in all aspects of landscape and horticultural work and have reached what I regard as a very high standard of workmanship. I have, more recently, obtained my National Diploma in Garden Design (Dip GD). I did this in order to re-test my design skills, making sure that I am in tune with the ideas of today and the future. Since relocating to the South West in 1997 the business has grown and gained an excellent reputation.
